A global bank approached BP3 with a project they initially perceived as an ‘RPA project’. However, their needs involved automation across both front-end (desktop) and back-end (server-based) processes, including thousands of processes with complex dependencies across multiple environments (desktop, cloud, Windows, Linux, and MS SQL Server). The business was working independently of their in-house IT-department. Only having RPA knowledge, they lacked awareness of the Workload Automation technology available within the organization.

 

The project necessitated a sophisticated automation approach, leveraging multiple automation technologies. This required not just advanced solutions, but also consultants skilled in discerning and applying the most effective tool for each unique aspect. BP3’s understanding of all the available tools and our ability to relate to the various personas in a large organization enables us to communicate with all these personas and provide integrated systems, where the correct tool is used for each job.

 

Understanding the intricacy of the bank’s needs, BP3 devised an integrated, multi-siloed automation solution. This approach leveraged the capabilities of their preferred products: Broadcom AutoSys for Workload Automation, Automation Anywhere for Intelligent Automation, and in-app automation including ServiceNow. Our solution architects meticulously analyzed the requirements, working in tandem with the bank's design committee to establish bank-wide standards for integration, monitoring, reporting, and alerting.

 

Co-designing with the bank, our consultants delivered a solution that far surpassed our clients expectations. Our ongoing collaboration with the bank’s leaders included executive training, highlighting the 'art of the possible' and demonstrating the power and range of their automation portfolio.
