Organizations typically seek migration for superior functionality, roadmaps or support, or to replace multiple tools with a single tool to facilitate common operation, administration and support teams, or because they are switching vendors for commercial reasons. Our proven methodologies ensure the successful delivery of numerous migration projects every year.

A leading international bank approached us with a critical requirement: to migrate workflows from an out-of-support legacy Workload Automation product to their preferred product. This project was under a tight deadline as the legacy product needed decommissioning before the next license renewal to avoid costly ‘extended support’ from the product vendor.

Our task was to migrate and consolidate the bank's workflows to Broadcom AutoSys within a constrained time frame. Our dedicated migration team developed conversion utilities that mapped schedule resources between the products, while strictly adhering to the bank's rigorous standards for job and calendar naming conventions, audit and compliance standards, and integration with their reporting, alert management, and help-desk systems.

Successfully completing the migration, we ensured adherence to both the vendor’s best practices and the bank's stringent standards. This included meticulous testing, change management, and release management. Post-migration, we provided comprehensive hand-over training to users and support staff as well as hypercare services post-go-live to serve as a safety net for any potential issues. Our efforts resulted in the successful decommissioning of the legacy Workload Automation product, saving the bank over $1M in licensing and extended support costs.
