Salesforce hosted a small business essentials event in Austin recently, and our very own Ted Irani represented BP3 on the panel.  It was great to see a couple friends on that panel – Clint Smith of CareerPlug (a great recruiting and applicant tracking system), and Bernard Briggs of Humm Systems (a great solution for getting real feedback from customers).

Coverage of the event was picked up by Silicon Hills:

In essence it was a sales presentation for Salesforce, but one in which Ted Irani, vice president of sales for BP3 Global, Clint Smith, president of CareerPlug, Ryan Deiss, CEO and founder of DigitalMarketer, and Bernard Briggs of Humm Systems, shared a lot of useful information about the perils growing businesses face in managing customer relationships and the solutions that work.

Salesforce has been a key tool for our business, as it is for many businesses.   But it is only one tool in the utility belt for development business relationships with prospective and current customers.
