Part of what makes SXSW great is that, as a conference, there’s always room for new ideas and topics to get in the door.  Quantum computing had about half-a-dozen sessions overall, including this keynote by a local entrepreneur affectionately known as Whurley:

Whurley’s focus is on humanizing Quantum computing – moving it from the realm of physicists or near-physicists into the realm of “mere mortal” human coders.

But along the way, Whurley attempts to explain the basics of Quantum computing in a way that we can all understand. Highly recommended viewing.
