Question asked, question answered:

The 2013 South By Southwest Interactive Festival has landed one of the mind behind a space startup and an electric sports car manufacturer as one of its four keynote speakers.

Billionaire Elon Musk is CEO and chief designer of SpaceX Inc. and CEO and product architect of Tesla Motors Inc. (Nasdaq: TSLA).

Musk is also chairman of SolarCity, a leading provider of residential solar power in the U.S.

Before starting SpaceX and Tesla Motors, Musk co-founded online payment system company PayPal.

Great speakers like Venter and Musk and many others are part of what has made SXSW-interactive a truly awesome conference.  The fact that speakers like these are mixed in with Baratunde and Clay Shirkey (often less well known than any of the above) makes for a great experience.
