Flying from Austin to Frankfurt

I predict more business between Austin and Germany if early signs for the new direct flight Condor is running between Austin and Frankfurt are any indications.  Several friends have already bought tickets, and Condor is reporting locally their intention to extend the service next year based on ticket sales this year. 

Direct flights make a huge difference in the feasibility and predictability of traveling from one city to another. The opening of direct flights from Austin to London by British Airways have cut 2-4 hours out of the one-way trip time, and greatly reduced the odds of weather interfering with getting home.
