The final ranking of the 75 winners, and the characteristics that make them top workplaces in Austin, will be revealed during a June 23 lunch at the JW Marriott Austin downtown — tickets are available online. This year’s awards event has a “groovy ’70s” theme. Attendees are encouraged to dress the part, and they always do as you can tell from these photos of last year’s super-hero-themed event.
As usual it will be a good event recognizing some great companies in Austin. And I know the competition is tough because there is something in the water in Austin – culture matters to the companies competing for talent here. People don’t choose Austin because it is the biggest city or has the most jobs – but because it has the right balance of culture, lifestyle, jobs, and opportunities. And that is reflected in the companies we form here.
Congrats to friends at Aceable, Austin Title Company, Colliers, our neighbors at Data.World, Emler Swim School (one of the best places to learn how to swim), JLL, Keller Williams, Kendra Scott, Launch Marketing, Pluckers (wings!), RetailMeNot, SailPoint, Sense Corp, Silicon Labs, Spiceworks, Square Root, the Zebra, WP Engine, YouEarnedIt, and Zenoss.
And thanks to our team mates at BP3, for putting us on this list again with so many other great places to work. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, I’m impressed with being on these lists precisely because we don’t have a lot of the frills and trappings that are written up in the press. But we do have a team that cares about each other and works hard to make our customers and our colleagues successful.
I know we’d be a great place to work whether we showed up on these lists or not, but I’m going to take a moment and really appreciate it. Thank you, team!
