The Austin Business Journal has covered our management change at BP3.  Now, if they knew Lance better, they would never suggest that he can be replaced.  But I will do my best to succeed Lance as CEO, to carry on the vision we share for the company, and to grow our team’s ability to serve our customers. And Lance will be right there with us helping us grow the business, tackling important strategic opportunities, and keeping a view on the whole BPM landscape.

BP3 Global Inc., a maker of business process management software, is replacing founding CEO Lance Gibbs with co-founder and Chief Technology Officer Scott Francis.

Gibbs, the Austin company’s nine-year CEO, is now BP3 Global’s chairman, according to a Tuesday news release. In November, Francis was named the Austin Business Journal’s 2015 TechFlash Titans award winner in the Best CIO/CTO category.

As the article points out, it has been a great 12 months for BP3, and by extension, for me.  I’m really excited about the challenge of building BP3 for the next phase.  Lance, we intend to do you proud.
