We view business process management as a discipline that crosses three key themes- or pillars- of focus that any company will endeavor to improve. Visibility – we need to understand how our process is truly operating and be able to act on that information. Control – we need to fix our process because the process just isn't getting it done for our customers or our business. Performance – we need to radically improve a process because either it does not exist or, it is too expensive or broken to bring into control.
Within each theme, there is a very prescriptive method and set of tools we can apply to get customers from A to Z, and to achieve the desired outcomes in each theme. Our services can be mapped into this roadmap - and we need not start at the top and work down the column - once we understand where a process is within our methodology, we can chart a course from there forward.
Our mission is to deliver tangible benefit in very discrete pieces of work, whether we are doing Value Stream Analysis, designing process measurement systems or implementing a Business Process Management Suite like Lombardi’s Teamworks product. It is our goal not only to advise on the immediate needs with our BPM framework, but also to advise on future investments with the ability to shift from Visibility to Control, or from one point in the pillar to the next.
