And for Tuesday’s sessions, our humble recommendations follow… I’ll point out right at the top that you have some great options with a session presented by BP3’s own Andrew Paier and Ivan Kornienko at 10am, and Zion’s Bank, who leveraged Brazos UI and Smarter Process to implement their mobile strategy.

8:30am | 2338A Fighting Fires with IBM BPM at Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service, Reef Ballroom D.  Andy Garratt of IBM and James Thompson of Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue, presenting.

Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service is a BPM success story. From a standing start, we have twelve processes live with more in the pipeline. These have delivered real efficiency savings and are in use by hundreds of users across our 29 sites. We have achieved this with a small team and without multi-million pound budgets. By adopting good practices in project management and stakeholder engagement, and with the help of technology, we have been able to clarify and improve upon what we do and how we do it, despite ongoing reductions in operational and support budgets. This session will share our implementation approach, including choosing which processes to implement, integrations, deployment, user education, standards and collaboration.

8:30am | 1481A How Daimler Brings Knowledge Workers Worldwide into One Change Management Solution, Reef Ballroom F.

Daimler Trucks is reinventing its worldwide enterprise change management solution with IBM Business Process Manager. This solution gets the sales, marketing, engineering, design, production, finance, services and management departments from eight subsidiaries of Daimler Trucks worldwide involved. Subject Matter Experts from different areas drive the process, combined with structured and unstructured workflows. This session explores how this complex solution is effectively designed and actualized by IBM BPM, and shares good practices from the point of view of delivery.

10:00am | 5003A BPM in the Palm of your Hand, Reef Ballroom D.  Ivan Kornienko and Andrew Paier will revisit this topic in 2016 – it was a great session last year and will be even better this year.  BP3 has been leading the way with mobile BPM on top of IBM’s Smarter Process suite, and this session is a great place to get caught up!

“BPM in the palm of your hand” was a hit at last year’s Interconnect, and it is real today. What about BPM on your wrist? The Apple Watch creates opportunities to provide subtle but noticeable cues for inbound actions that require attention. Join us to learn how to create a better customer experience for your mobile workforce, and hear about specific use cases for Apple Watch notifications in a process context—a streamlined, end-to-end notification and work source for every user everywhere in the world. We will walk through three customer use cases that put the power of mobile BPM behind the business to drive real change.

10:00am | The Patient Journey Leveraging IBM ODM Insights and IBM ODM Rules at Kaiser Permanente, Mandalay Ballroom I. This session is competing with our own, but we couldn’t be prouder of Kaiser’s work with ODM that is on tap for this session.  David Herring, Wei He, Jeff Goodhue, and Francis Friedlander are speaking.  If BPM in the palm of your hand isn’t your thing, this is the other session in the 10am slot that we would recommend:

Over ten million health plan members rely on Kaiser Permanente, and we rely on IBM. At Kaiser Permanente, we’re re-imagining patient experience by pioneering techniques that leverage the detection capabilities of the IoT, Social Media, and IBM ODM Insights together with the prescription functionality of IBM ODM Rules. Our collaboration with IBM blends asynchronous and synchronous business rules behavior, which enables us to predict patient transfer congestion, manage the discharge of patients and maximize the availability of hospital beds. This presentation will include a real-time demonstration and Q&A discussion.

12:00PM | 5006A Process Maturity in Real Life, Mandalay Ballroom J.  Join me (Scott Francis) and three customers – Russ Pfeil of Wells Fargo, Kenneth Lindegaard of Carlsberg Denmark, and Patricia Bayon of PNM Resources – three companies on the BPM journey and leveraging Smarter Process to great effect.

Gartner says there are five levels of process maturity. Set the theoretical models aside and and join this panel to see how IBM BPM customers are faring at different stages of the BPM journey. BP3 CTO and co-founder, Scott Francis, will lead a discussion of BPM achievement and maturity and  explore what the future holds in each case.

2:30pm | InterConnect Session: Networking in the Digital Age, Mandalay Bay, booth #902, forum #5.  Scott Francis will be joining a panel to discuss networking in the digital age, how to leverage tools like Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.

2:30pm | Humana’s Wellness Journey with the IBM Smarter Process Suite, Mandalay Ballroom I. Michael Kennedy and Dmitriy Kellik of Humana discuss their Smarter Process journey:

Humana’s enterprise goal is “Every community we serve will be 20% healthier by 2020 because we make it easy for people to achieve their best health.” In this presentation, we’ll discuss how Humana is leveraging IBM Smarter Process Suite to deliver creative solutions to make health and healthcare easier for our customers and to close the gap between people and care. Learn how we simplified business processes and have made it easier for our customers to do business with us.

4:00pm | 2527A Mobile-Enabling your Business Process using Coach Views: Lessons Learned at Zion’s Bank, Reef Ballroom D.  Preston Romney of IBM, and Matt Grandon of Zion’s presenting their approach to mobile solutions, which, notably, takes advantage of BP3’s own Brazos as a key enabling technology.

Join us to discuss lessons learned from Zion’s Bank and how they mobile-enabled their Treasury On-boarding process application. What are the different mobile options and considerations for each? What are the difficult lessons that Zion’s learned when attempting a native iOS development effort? Why did they decide to use the BP3 toolkit instead? We’ll cover how coach views and the BP3 toolkit helped Zion’s Bank speed their development efforts, while providing a consistent user experience for both the desktop and mobile devices.

4:00pm | Eating our own Dog Food: How Smarter Process Digitization is Driving IBM’s Growth, Mandalay Ballroom J. A collection of IBM engineers and leaders explain how they are leveraging Smarter Process in their own business.

5:00pm – 5:20pm | 5500A Continuous Process Improvement Leveraged by IBM Business Monitor: A Banking Use Case.  Systems Engagement Center.

The IBM Smarter Process portfolio continues to expand and deepen the coverage for scenarios that integrate people, processes and information. IBM Business Process Manager and the role of Cognos Analytics within IBM Business Monitor provides content and analytics, bringing visibility to the line of business. Visibility is a key factor when the discussion is continuous process improvement, necessary to attend strategic business outcomes. This session will explore IBM Business Monitor and how it can be used in continuous process improvements efforts. This session will also perform a live demonstration of process improvements using a banking use case.

6pm | 5114A Meet the IBM BPM on Cloud Experts. Meet the Experts Forum #1.

Join us for an overview and open discussion about IBM Business Process Manager in the cloud. Come and meet the experts for IBM BPM on Cloud and ask your questions. The Product Manager, Lead Architect, and Operational Manager will be on hand to share information.

7pm | BP3 Connect – BPM customers welcome to attend… invite with qualifications.
