The real key to agility will need to come from your people. Your culture. Here is how I look at it. Technology may contribute to an agile organization, but mostly the root of agility lies in the collective consciousness of an organization.
To be fair, I think many people look at their organization and see the potential for agility, but look at the tooling available to that organization, and they don’t see the technology to support agility (e.g. working inside a monolithic ERP system to create process change…) BPM is a contributing but not sufficient ingredient for agility.
