I think you make that point quite effectively. Being anonymous absolves one of responsibility, guilt, blame... as well as of credit, gratitude, and thanks. The offshore delivery model is an anonymous – faceless – vending machine, of sorts, where we put money in, pull the lever, and out drops software.
