LANCE GIBBS / Chief Executive Officer
Lance brings over 20 years of experience in IT and strategic business initiatives to BP3. He's our chief evangelist for business process improvement, he's our compass for running BP3, and he happens to be a master black belt in Six Sigma.
Lance led BP3's involvement in OMG, specifically the OMG Business Process certification exams. Lance is the author of many best practice articles concerning Business Process Management. He also has many years of experience rolling out software development lifecycle methods for blue chip companies. Lance was formerly Lombardi Software's Managing Director of Transformation Services, with additional responsibility for creating and innovating Lombardi's BPM implementation methodology, as well as previous positions leading Customer Support and Training.
Previously, Lance was Managing Partner at USWeb/CKS where he grew the operation from 3 employees to over 100 and was responsible for strategic customers as well as the consulting disciplines for the Austin group.
SCOTT FRANCIS / Chief Technical Officer
Scott brings over 18 years of experience in the Software and Services business to BP3. Since 2007 he's helped grow BP3 over tenfold in revenue and personnel, by building the best team in the business. Scott comes to BP3 from Lombardi - one of the principle software providers in the BPM space and the precursor to IBM BPM - where he was Chief Architect and Director of Technical Services. In that capacity Scott led or oversaw over 100 BPM deployments for Lombardi customers, and can be credited with growing the technical delivery team over tenfold during his tenure. Lombardi was widely seen as the lead innovator in the BPM space, and Scott was the force behind that innovation in the technical delivery arm of professional services.
Prior to Lombardi, Scott was a member of the senior management and technical staff at Trilogy Software, where he led solution engineering, consulting, and product development teams through some of their most challenging projects over 7 years, culminating in major business relationships with Fortune 500 companies.
Scott is an active contributor to the BP3 Blog, and the OMG OCEB BPM Certifications. He was named an IBM Websphere Champion in 2012 and again in 2013. Scott also organized bpmCamp 2010, and has been a speaker at Lombardi Driven and IBM Impact conferences nearly every year. Scott Francis holds a B.S in Computer Science from Stanford University.
FLOURNOY HENRY / Vice President, Delivery
Flournoy comes to BP3 from Aflac with 20 years of experience in the Insurance industry. At BP3 he is the keeper of the BPM torch and reviews all of our solutions. Most notably, he spent 4 years leading Aflac's BPM initiatives. At Aflac he led the implementation of process solutions that touch nearly every transaction of business with Aflac customers, ranging from high-volume system-to-system solutions to high-end multi-user workflow process designs. His passion for BPM as a discipline, and not just as a software tool, helps bridge the gap between business value and IT deliverables.
Flournoy is well-known in BPM circles and has been a sought-after guest speaker at Gartner conferences and Lombardi user conferences over the years. More recently he contributed to an IBM Redbook on BPM. He has been a staunch advocate of aligning IT with business goals and ROI (return on investment), and an advocate for BPM software solutions as a way to promote good business practices. Flournoy holds a B.S.B.A. in MIS from Auburn University.
JEROD WAGGONER / Vice President, Sales
Jerod has held a variety of sales and customer focused roles within the Business Process Management space. His 8 years of experience at Lombardi Software (acquired by IBM in 2010) and later with IBM’s BPM sales team give him a unique understanding of customers, channels, and sales in the BPM space.
His well-rounded view of the challenges BPM practitioners face and his long-term investment in our customers' success makes him an ideal partner with our customers to help them through the purchasing process. He is responsible for the development and performance across sales activities at BP3, and management of the company’s growing list of clients.
RAINER RIBBACK / Vice President, Delivery
Rainer joined BP3 Global in 2013 bringing 20+ years of software and services experience. Rainer is responsible for BP3’s Professional Services business. Throughout his career, he has been recognized as a change agent and delivery leader, specifically practicing Lean and Agile management disciplines. Rainer’s passion for business process and program execution has spanned a number of practitioner and executive roles at Enterprise software firms, such as LeaseTek/CFS, 724 Solutions, Adobe, and Lombardi.
As one of the early team members at Lombardi Software where he served as VP of Delivery, Rainer accumulated over 10 years of BPM domain knowledge. Upon the IBM-Lombardi acquisition, Rainer joined Adobe Systems, where he was responsible for operationalizing the Services’ delivery practice for the Adobe Enterprise business, including the adoption of an Agile delivery model.
Rainer has a proven track record of building and retaining high performing teams, as well as scaling process and measurement capability for organizations. He is an recognized thought leader for BPM and business transformation methodologies, and a strong advocate of Business Process Capability. Rainer holds a B.S. in Business from Carnegie Mellon University.
ANDREW PAIER / Vice President, BP Labs
Andrew brings over 15 years of software and services experience to BP3. Since 2003 he has been delivering BPM solutions to his customers. Andrew has been involved in many layers of BPM delivery from creating hands on solutions for customers to managing BPM Product development teams at Lombardi and IBM.
Andrew is also passionate about educating others. You will likely come across many of his posts on IBM’s BPM Developer Works forum, where he heavily contributes. He brings this passion to the BP3 Labs group where he leads his team in demystify complex technical problems and implementing tools and frameworks to make those problems easier for everyone to solve. It’s no wonder that BP3’s field teams are able to deliver higher quality solutions to our customers.
Andrew was named an IBM Websphere Champion in 2013.
MICHAEL MONACO / Vice President, Business Development
Mike brings over 20 years of enterprise sales and professional services experience to BP3. Throughout his career, Mike has provided executive leadership at some of the largest and most innovative companies in the technology industry including Sun Microsystems, BEA Systems, Mercury Interactive and IBM. Mike’s passion for BPM has lead him to hold a diverse range of roles covering Sales, Product Management, Delivery and Business Development.
Most recently Mike built a large scale BPM and Middleware practice as a Business Unit Executive for Ascendant Technology (an Avnet Company), ensuring customer success across multiple different industries for Fortune 500 clients. Mike comes to us from Avnet where he held the position of Vice President of Market Management for Avnet Services worldwide, helping Avnet craft its go-to-market and services strategy.
Mike’s deep understanding of technology, professional services and the IBM ecosystem makes him a perfect fit to run Business Development for BP3. Mike holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of California, San Diego.
